Our Nursery
Our nursery is thoughtfully designed to provide an optimal experience for children as they grow and develop. The baby room is carefully laid out to create a calm and comforting environment, while the toddler areas are designed to encourage exploration and play. As children progress to our pre-school room, the space becomes more structured, resembling a classroom setting that prepares them for the next stage of their educational journey. Throughout the nursery, our thoughtful layout ensures that children feel safe, supported, and engaged.
In our Ladybirds room, we nurture the foundational skills of our youngest learners through carefully designed activities that promote social interaction, relationship-building, and physical development.
We focus on enhancing fine and gross motor skills through a variety of engaging experiences, including sensory play with messy toys and creative activities. By incorporating music and speech, we also encourage early communication skills, laying the groundwork for future learning and development.
Once children move up to Dragonflies, they’re encouraged to grow and thrive by fostering independence through a range of engaging activities.
Through creative play, reading, and conversation, children develop essential skills, build confidence, and learn to navigate their surroundings. By encouraging independence, we help children develop the self-reliance and confidence they need to thrive in their toddler years.
In Busy Bees, we aim to encourage development in all areas of learning, focusing on becoming more independent, continuing to understand the daily routine and recognising boundaries.
We provide a rich learning environment that promotes Maths and Literacy skills through engaging activities, nurturing a love for learning and exploration. Our carefully designed experiences support children’s cognitive, social, and emotional growth, laying a strong foundation for future success.
Butterflies is our pre-school room where children embark on an exciting journey of discovery, exploring the world around them in a fun, engaging, and safe environment.
Guided by the seven areas of development, we use play-based learning to foster curiosity and growth. We strive to create a nurturing atmosphere where every child feels valued, seen, and heard, celebrating their individual achievements as we prepare them for the next stage of their educational journey.
With a wide range of enriching activities for all ages, our garden has been thoughtfully designed to give children the freedom to explore the world around them in a safe and stimulating environment. For the younger children, we provide two covered, enclosed free-roam spaces where they can play securely while building confidence and independence.
The garden also features a mud kitchen for sensory play, mobility toys like trikes and cars to encourage gross motor skill development, a sensory playhouse and outdoor furniture to inspire imaginative adventures. In addition, there is a natural exploration corner where children can discover textures, watch things grow, and develop an early appreciation for nature.
Our very talented chefs, Elaine and Michelle prepare nutritious, homemade meals daily, catering to the diverse needs of our children. They provide well-balanced meals that accommodate individual requirements, allergies, and preferences.
We offer 3-weekly menus that not only adhere to government guidelines but also reflect the children’s preferences, ensuring a delightful and healthy dining experience.
